CF2: IBM M1 Carbine S#3912637 – $3,699.99

This original as issue, March of 1944 transitional period M1 Carbine is in very good condition with some patina on the barrel and slash marked, type 2 barrel band. The Lumb Woodworking, Co of Poughkeepsie, NY stock set is in fantastic overall condition with minimal handling marks. Both the slide and bolt are marked AOB and gauge beautifully with minimal lug and firing pin wear. The BE-B housing, WMB hammer, PR-B mag catch and EPB safety are all serial number correct for a 3.9 serial number but the SG-B marked sear is of slightly earlier production tailing off a month or 2 earlier but very common to see in this serial number range. The undated barrel is marked I.B.M CORP. and while there is some external patina it gauges very well with a muzzle and throat erosion reading of 1.5 with a very strong headspace.

The WRA GHD cartouche is very strong and the original 2 rivet Winchester marked handguard has a very strong purchase to the action due to the upgraded type 2 barrel band.
